Aeroflot offers its online services to verify the correctness of the cost applied when issuing tickets. The airline explains that when booking air tickets through brokers and tour agents, “there is a tendency to provide passengers with route tickets that contain inaccurate information about the tariff, fees and charges”.
“There are also cases when the cost of transportation is indicated by a single amount, without dividing by tariff, fees and service charges for various purposes. This is a violation of the requirements for the information structure of the itinerary receipt”, says the message of Aeroflot.
To prevent violations related to the incorrect fare costs, Aeroflot provided for the possibility of checking the correctness of charging the tariff, taxes and fees when buying a ticket. This function is available through the online service “Check booking” on the airline website. Passengers can report violations to the airline using the option “Ticket Issues” in the “Feedback” section.
