The operation arises with the intention of rehearsing the delivery of humanitarian aid and will be carried out at the Marine Corps Training Base in Coveñas, in the municipality of the department of Sucre, in northern Colombia.
The United States embassy in Colombia reported that the US Marine Corps Special Purpose Air Purpose Task Force. will be present in the activity and humanitarian assistance, communications and air operations will be carried out together with the Colombian Marine Corps.
